Dada Entertainment was introduced to the industry with a cocktail party at the ultracool Empire Hotel in NYC last week. On the roof overlooking all of Manhattan, our partners - including music industry, carriers and other friends - grooved to tunes by DJ Nick Catchdubs as we celebrated the launch of what is quickly becoming the leader in mobile and web 2.0 experiences - Dada.net!
Dada has been nominated Best D2C Company at the ME Awards!
We have had a great year with the launch of our MP3 service and the addition of more artist info on Dada.net. Stay tuned for the addition of even more great music to Dada.net soon!

Dada launched an exciting new promotion this week, giving 3 free MP3s to anyone who will listen.
If they like what they hear, they can download more DRM-free music for $0.67 a pop by subscribing to our service. Or, they can take their 3 new MP3s and walk away.
Visitors taking advantage of the offer can get a taste of the Dada experience by downloading top tracks, becoming fans of their favorite artists, installing music widgets and meeting other music fans.
With this promotion, we're hoping the spread the music movement to a new audience, including everyone with an e-mail address and a dream of music liberation. =)
Yesterday we released a new version of the home page. We have created different tabs for our charts and community feed, plus we added numbers to the chart. In addition we made highlights in the cover flow bigger: now highlights are more emotional and convey the message in a more effective way.
I think the changes improved the overall look&feel and make the home page sleeker and cleaner. Do you agree?
Those changes were driven by customer insight efforts. Listening to users and observing what they click, like and don't like on the site is one of the primary activities for us.
I like to go thru customer emails. I read a lot of emails every day.

At the moment, the only MP3s that we have available for download are from Sony BMG. That is fantastic, as they have some amazing artists: from Leona Lewis to Britney Spears to Christina Aguilera to the Foo Fighters to Michael Jackson to Bruce Springsteen to Billy Joel to the newly victorious David Cook. But we all know that one record label is not enough - because not only do we want the Dada Music Store to be the best value out there, but also to have as wide a choice as possible. So we are in active discussions with all the other major record labels, as well as a bunch of independents. They are very excited by our new service and we are working hard together to close deals that will mean that we can quickly expand the range of artists and music that we have available for download. The music business is not known for being the fastest moving out there, but we expect to be able to make some exciting announcements soon, so watch this space...
